Hernia Repairs

We treat all hernias: groin (inguinal and femoral), umbilical, and incisional.  We use both the open and the less invasive laparoscopic techniques.

Gallbladder Removal

Virtually all gallbladder removals (cholecystectomies) are performed as an outpatient using minimally invasive laparoscopy.

Colorectal & Anal Surgery

Conditions such as diverticulitis, colon polyps, colorectal cancers, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, and fistulas may all require surgical interventions.  Fortunately most colon resections are now accomplished with laparoscopy

Endocrine Surgery

Diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands sometimes require surgery.  We employ in office ultrasound for thyroid nodule evaluation and biopsy.

Melanoma & Skin Cancer

We remove squamous cell and basal cell skin cancers.  We also perform wide excisions, and sentinel lymph node biopsies for melanomas.

Breast Care

We evaluate and treat breast conditions ranging from benign to cancer by employing in office ultrasound, minimally invasive biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, sentinel lymph node biopsy, lumpectomy, and mastectomy

Reflux / Hiatal Hernia

Some patients with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), hiatal hernia, or paraesophageal hernia will benefit from  surgery—fundoplication.  This surgery is now done laparoscopically.
